This one picture was close to what I wanted to capture. He gave me his attention for about 3 seconds. Unfortunately I had something in my left hand and quickly zoomed and clicked one handed. As a result he has no feet, aaagh.

how cute!
ReplyDeleteA lovely colt to look at every spring! You're so lucky! Our little Ollie (who will be two in May) was always very interested in any visitors- so gregarious and friendly, and he continues to be that way.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Maybe a little video is in order. . .
ReplyDeleteI think those are great photos. I can never get over how leggy colts are. They are, without a doubt, absolutely adorable. How nice that you get to enjoy this every year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post Maria! I wish I could see a colt running around like crazy for the first time. I like the 2nd picture best.
ReplyDeletelovely!
ReplyDeleteHi Maria ... what a cutie patootie! You did a great job capturing him ... :)
ReplyDeleteAgree w/ Carolynn ... all that leg ... :D
I'm glad he gave you 3 seconds of time for this shot -- as if to say -- "I have other things to do and I'm busy, but for you, I'll make time". Lovely to see "birth" in the spring -- not just from the flowers and trees...but in all life.
ReplyDeleteHow precious! I didn't even notice his lack of feet...I love his sweet baby face!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Foals are my favorite baby animal!
